# Parcel collection at Acme

## Collection window
Members can collect delivered parcels within five business days. Uncollected parcels are returned to sender. Acme does not store perishable goods. These conditions concern delivered parcels, not an overnight desk entitlement or permission for a courier to enter any part of a building.

Business days mean Monday through Friday in the examples, with no public holiday assumed. Keep the delivery date with the collection discussion so the five-day window remains clear. A vague message that a parcel arrived “last week” may not identify the right date for the particular item.

## Before coming to collect
Contact reception with the recipient name and the delivery reference you actually have. Specify Harbor, Midtown or Garden rather than assuming all parcels go to the member's usual working location. The staff response should concern that item, not a sample package or somebody else's delivery history.

Reception is staffed weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00. A longer Unlimited member-access window does not establish that staff can hand over an item late in the evening. Agree any practical collection question with reception instead of using building access hours as a promise about parcel service.

## Items we cannot store
Perishable goods are excluded. Do not send an item requiring refrigerated or time-sensitive storage on the assumption that the general parcel rule covers it. This guide does not offer a cold-storage service or provide a handling guarantee for an unlisted special item. Ask before relying on an arrangement that is not described here.

## Uncollected items
An uncollected parcel is returned to sender after the collection window. If a delivery is unclear, explain the problem promptly with the actual reference. A request for information does not itself extend the window or establish that staff agreed to retain an item longer.

## Keeping records useful
Keep the recipient, location, delivery date and reference together. An image of a shipping label can describe an item but does not prove that the person currently asking is entitled to collect it. Follow staff instructions for the actual handover. A public demonstration account cannot confirm receipt or collection of a real parcel.

For entrance information, see [Locations](https://acme-fixture-main-dprvda.pages.dev/locations). For arrival guidance, see the [Acme handbook](https://acme-fixture-handbook-dprvda.pages.dev/acme/arrival). Ask reception about a missing detail at the relevant location. This guide does not describe every possible courier problem, and another customer's completed collection is not evidence that your own item has arrived.
